making a statement

I guess it was only a matter of time until someone came up with this for unattached riders.

I found about the site from an email, but I later ran across an interview with the guy that came up with the idea:

something I thought of, and so did other people: "unattached" can mean more than just not being a member of a team -it could mean the person is single, too. (if they have that kind of nerve!)

it's awesome- you might see me in that kit next year. the only problem is USAC events don't let you wear a kit unless it's for a USAC-registered team/club... just a caveat.

do they enforce the rule? it seems like I have known people who wear non-registered team kits (such as their mt bike team kit), but maybe they are doing ABR races, not USCF races. I'm not sure if road promoters charge the "unattached fee" anymore, either?

it will be interesting to see what happens if a bunch of people wearing "unattached" jerseys show up for the same event. would they feel obligated to treat each other as "teammates?"
