Cougar Sightings?

Some people in Wilmette have been reporting cougar sightings! I read about this in the print version of the Tribune. One had been spotted up in North Chicago, 20 miles away, so they are hypothesizing that it might be the same one. Having spent a lot of time snowshoeing and skiing in a Wilmette lakefront park this winter, it's hard for me to imagine a cougar lurking there... but there are probably lots of other good lurking places. It does make riding through Wilmette a little more exciting. If the potholes weren't enough to keep you on your toes.... So, cyclists riding through Wilmette, consider yourself warned!!
