No, not the saloon in Sturgis and Daytona....
In the race Saturday I noticed a sound that made me wonder if my new brake pads were rubbing on my new rotor. Later at home, when checking to see if the pads were really rubbing (they were fine), I saw that the wheel was out of true. I took it into the shop near me to see if they could true it. Lou, the owner, noticed something that I wouldn't have - a broken spoke that hadn't popped out yet. (I realize most of you blog readers would have known to look for this, but I don't think I have ever broken one) He fixed it on the spot. A Big Thanks goes out to Lou, John and Chris at the Pony Shop! In the past few weeks, it seems like every week I have had something on my race bike that has needed fixing or replacing or changing. Each time, one of the guys has managed to get my bike done in time for my weekend race, even though they were crazy busy!! Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!
