I read that the cicadas are supposed to come out on May 22nd. I guess people are already seeing the young'uns emerging from the ground in forest preserves. Let's hope they don't come early! I don't know if they are only going to emerge in the Chicago area or if they will be coming out in Wisconsin too?? There may be the most spectators ever at a WORS race.... thousands of loud buzzing bugs! My overactive imagination is wondering what it would be like to be doing the Treadfest race on May 20th and riding through piles of crunchy cicadas! Not to mention having them hopping and flying all over the place, like into the holes of our helmets. Ugh.
A tooth filling fell out today. No more Tootsie Rolls for me!
