Condolences

My condolences to the family, friends and teammates of Beth Kobeszka, of XXX racing-AthletiCo, who was killed in the Proctor Cycling Classic road race in Peoria on Saturday. I did not know her, but am very saddened to hear about this.

I just arrived home from the Eau Claire WORS (it's late Sunday night), and haven't actually talked to anyone that was in Peoria yet. I don't know the details other than that she likely got bumped across the yellow line in the 4's race, at which point she was hit by an oncoming truck. I think I know some people that were probably in the race with her, so I will have to get more information later.

Very sad.
