Update

Here is a link to the article about the Chicago XXX racing-AthletiCo racer who died in Peoria on Saturday.

Some friends were at the race, and one of them was in the race and was in front when the accident happened. She heard it but did not see it. Her husband heard there was an accident but didn't know who had been hit - he had to wait a while to find out it was not his wife. Sounds awful. He said that Beth was a wonderful person, and lots of fun. It sounds like she will be missed a great deal.

My thoughts are with everyone affected by this. I can't stop thinking about how everyone that was in the race must be feeling right now. In addition to all the family and friends, I have not forgotten about the driver and his family in the truck, who must be really struggling as well.
